Emily + John had my wedding season go out with a bang for their wedding at The Dalcy Chicago! I’m talking ceiling florals, hanging crystals, a dance floor that wouldn’t stop and energy that was unmatched.
These two started the day with their respective friends getting ready at The Hoxton and I’m going to need all of my future couples to consider this getting ready space for their day. Not only did it have amazing light and space, but we were able to utilize the rooftop for a gorgeous first look, accompanied by some grasshoppers.
Because The Hoxton is quite literally down the street from The Dalcy Chicago, we walked the short distance over there and used a photogenic alley for their portraits and yes yes yes. These images just ooze Chicago to me without being skyline or lake.
The decor was insane. Like truly, I wanted to keep shooting it, but you know, the wedding had to start. When I walk into a wedding reception and it looks like this, I go a little ‘heart eye.’ Because who doesn’t see a room like this an instantly go “WOW!” It truly set the tone for the rest of the evening which was a party that nobody could forget!
I had the absolute best time capturing Emily and John’s love and am so honored that they trusted me with their love story! It was truly the best way to end my busy season of 2025.
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Coen!
