It never fails; an engagement session at my favorite combo of locations. Add in the best season in Chicago (summer) and you’ve got yourself a winning recipe for a stellar engagement session! Lauren + Ellis wanted their turn at the classic Chicago North Avenue Beach engagement photos.
We started at South Pond at the Lincoln Park Boardwalk and captured that perfect summer sun. These two are getting married in the burbs, so capturing the essence of that classic Chicago look was key. So we had to head over to Chicago’s North Avenue Beach to capture that skyline over the lake. A little mix of nature and city is perfect!
When searching for a location for your engagement session, you can kind of two directions: something personal to you two, or something that’s going to serve a backdrop. Luckily for these two, they got to hit on both directions with this combo of locations!
