I’m always down to try out “new to me” locations. So when Alex + Joe chose their location as Winnemac Park Chicago, I was thrilled. When I tell you I was in awe! This is a little slice of paradise in the city for nature lovers. You didn’t feel like you were in the city at all. Weeping willows, walking trails lined with wildflowers and open space to roam, it was perfection for an engagement session.
Alex + Joe are getting married next year and are unsure if their dog, Bruce, will be in attendance (he’s high energy, that Bruce) so it was important to include him in engagement photos. After all, he is a huge part of their life. While Bruce didn’t love being the center of attention, he hung with me and I’ll say he did a great job being a model.
These two are so much fun and their energy was infectious! I know their big day next year is going to be a standout for me. Congratulations to Alex + Joe!
